Bryce Johnson was born on April 18, 1977, and raised in Sioux City, Iowa, where he lived with his mother and two brothers. For a short time his family lived in Denver, Colorado, during his high school years, which is where his dream to become an actor came to life. Similar to his character on Popular (1999), Johnson was the captain of the varsity soccer team and co-captain of the school's golf team. Also, he was elected Class president of both his Junior and Senior classes.
Soon after graduating high school in 1995, Bryce packed his belongings into the back of his car and headed for Los Angeles, California. There he trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He quickly landed a series starring role in The WB pilot Saving Graces (1999), but when that series didn't make the schedule, he was cast in Popular (1999). He also appeared in five episodes of the MTV comedy Undressed (1999).
Currently residing in Hollywood, California, Bryce is making a name for himself on television. After the cancellation of "Popular," he went on to make a few more projects, such as the independent film Puzzled (2001) and the made-for-television movie. Bryce won Best Supporting actor at the 2008 Glitter Awards for his performance of Freshman Orientation. In My Life (2002). When not working, he enjoys playing all sports, especially golf, beach volleyball, and American football.
